Summer Bash 3 -Sand Lake-

Sandlake May 19-20 « Thread Started on Feb 4, 2007, 7:49am » Our annual Sandlake run will be May 19-20. Known as Summer Bash 3 although a lil early for summer. This is a "non-organized" event. The reason it is non organized is there seams to be a fuzzy gray area with the parks and rec people on what an organized event is. This is a national forest and it requires permits to hold events and to make money on state land. So since we don't charge anyone to attend and we mainly just gather together and have fun it isn't technically an event. Our only area of concern is our raffle. I will get all the info I need on that before our run so we can have another.This year it looks like we will be spread through out the camp ground and in the sand. Lets plan for the group photo at the 1st bowl at 12noon on Saturday, we had too many people last year to try it at the beach again. 15 rigs to a row so everyone gets in the photo.
