Nick's Dana 60 Rebuild

Starting clean, with kingpin rebuilds.

Greasing all the bearing really well.Attatching the lower cap to secure the knuckleInserting new outer axle tube seals from MAD4wd, which i forgot to put in before the knuckles went on. It was still pretty easy though, just clean the tube, silicone it in, and then grease it really good.High steer arms from SKY manf. were finally here.Inserted cap and spring and bolted on the arms.35 spline axles and spindles were next.Brake caliper bracketsA few little modifications to the spider gearsA new GLO diff cover from Great lakes offroad1/2" plate, with a center section of 1/2"plate reinforcement, counterbored holes, and a high fill plug.

I also had them add the drain plug in the bottom of the cover.1/2" Spring plates are ready, also from Great lakes offroad.
